This endpoint allows you to create a candidate in your account in the same way as if you were adding them manually. It means that the candidate will not receive the auto-confirmation email, and the header in their candidate profile will say that they were manually added by the user whose API token was used as a header in the call. The same information can be provided in the API call's body that is visible on the screenshot taken in-app:
